Preserving our heritage spaces, especially in Moore County, isn't a sprint. It's a full-blown marathon.

Bring awareness to the most at-risk buildings in our community, such as the historic Hayes House in Southern Pines.
Our organization's research and expert testimony at the HDC meeting helped delay the demolition 365 days to find an alternative to demolition.
2.
Assist local governments like Cameron establish local historic districts to protect their heritage structures from demolition.
3.
Develop a preservation education program with local partners to help enhance the skills of both our heritage home owners and our local craftsmen.
