The Moore Modernism Self-Guided Tour

Developed as part of the 2026 Moore Modernism Tal + Tour event, this self-guided tour takes participants to the exterior of a number of modernist points of interest throughout Moore County.

During this tour, you will travel to and congregate in front of each historic structure for a few minutes to learn about each's architecture, history, and how the structure relates to the Modernist movement in Moore County.

IMPORTANT: how to take the tour.

1) We encourage you to visit each site to fully understand the context and environment. However, you will be able to enjoy the tour from your phone or laptop.

2) Many of these properties are privately-owned properties. View the buildings from public right-of-way: sidewalks and roads. Do not enter private property!

3) Please be discreet when viewing and photographing to avoid any disturbance to the occupants or owners.

4) Feel free to enter businesses open to the public during operating hours. Be sure to mention that you found them through the PPG self-guided tour!
